Duchenne UK outgrew our old database a while ago so we decided to move to a new one that would better suit our needs. To cover the move of all out data between the databases we were recommended Migrate Data by our support provider.

From day one, George was always on hand, always ready to help, to advise, to jump on Teams to discuss anything that came up. The first financial and time estimates were provided free of charge based on sample data we provided, and later on they were then specified further based on a full back up so MD knew what they will be dealing with, and we had accurate budgeting and timelines.

Throughout the process we had regular catchups with George and during migration itself we had two weekly catch ups with the full team which was always reassuring and made the process very smooth. Once the migration was done, George was still on hand with any possible last moment touches.

Microsoft Dynamics HR Migration Case Study

We worked with Migrate Data over the last six months to migrate our data from two systems (RE and TQ) to a new CRM (Salesforce). This involved the migration of millions of donations, thousands of recurring donations and hundreds of thousands of contacts, including consent data. It was an extremely positive experience both from a data quality point of view and as a collaborative piece of work. On the first it was fairly complex, effectively two migrations given both existing systems were independent of each other. As ever with these projects, issues in the source data emerged but MD really helped, flagging issues and proactively suggesting solutions. On the second, just a pleasure to work with, always positive, engaged and responsive.
We had weekly meetings with everyone in attendance, half an hour or less, which worked really well. There was clear ownership with one analyst specialising in each legacy system. They showed outstanding flexibility around timings, delays to Go Live, changes to decisions made and additional requests.

Gamma is a Telecommunications provider and through acquisitions and mergers over the 18 years of existence, we have accrued different systems and different processes, to service a very similar product set. 18 months ago we began a programme of work to streamline and enhance our digital capabilities by upgrading our existing Salesforce tool,

which was only used as a Sales administration system in to a fully integrated CRM to achieve our ultimate aim which is to have a single customer view, across the business and reduce the need to grow in staff, while servicing more customers. Through this process we’ve began our journey of enabling all our staff to view our customers information both existing and new, throughout their lifecycle from prospect, through new account to in life support, all in a single system. To achieve this we have been combining processes and data used by multiple different teams across our business, from 5 different systems. Once we’d identified what our standardised data model needed to be, it soon became clear that the task of migrating our existing data from the source systems to the single view was going to be a highly complex process and not one that we had the capacity and skill set to deliver ourselves. Through our Salesforce partner we were recommended to look at CCR for support and in Q3 2018 we started working with them on what turned out to be a process that was far more complex than any of us had imagined. Through a series of daily and weekly calls, collaborating with our internal system experts, CCR designed data migration scripts for us which would ensure our target data model was achieved and most importantly that the integrity of our customer data was maintained when it was loaded in to our new CRM. Throughout iterative tests, the migration process was refined and rehearsed so that when we were due to finally go-live we had the confidence that the migration could be executed with minimal interruption to our business. A combination of the expertise and unwavering dedication of CCR (Tom Knight specifically) over the course of 2 long weekends enabled us to deliver the data migration element project with such a high level of accuracy that the other elements of the launch were equally successful.
